That this Committee calls upon the Manager to bring forward suggested venues and dates to the next Organisation, Procedure and Finance Meeting for the holding of an area committee meeting in each of the Lucan, Palmerstown and Newcastle areas.

That this Committee requests the Manager to consider the opening up of a Council customer service office in Lucan and Palmerstown in order to further improve the service being given to residents and in acknowledgement of the fact that no adequate direct public transport link connects these communities to the Council’s other offices.

To ask the Manager if he will request the developer to remedy the untidy state of the entrance to Liffey Valley Park Estate, Lucan, adjacent to the roundabout at the entrance to Mount Andrew Estate, and if he will request the Roads Department to examine the adequacy of the public lighting in front of the row of houses adjacent to the roundabout?
