That the Manager presents a report on the Clondalkin Library and on any plans the County Council may have for using part of the adjoining Lexington site for further Library Development.

That the Manager would bring forward for discussion a details report and draft design for the new facility in Griffeen Valley Regional Park Lucan, incorporating a Swimming Pool.  Would the Manager also signal the extent of the consultation process envisaged prior to this development taking place, to ensure that the development of this facility includes all that will be of benefit to the local community in Lucan.

That this Committee is concerned with the persistent problem of littering, illegal dumping and graffiti along Ballyowen Lane, Lucan, and requests the Manager to provide a report on measures being taken by the Council to combat such anti-social behaviour, including actions to re-design and refurbish the area around the bollards at the junction of Ballyowen Lane and the Ballyowen Shopping Centre.

That the Manager would agree to examine the feasibility of providing a toilet facility to assist Lucan Sarsfields GAA at Willsbrook Park, Lucan.  Owing to the outstanding development and successes to date of Lucan Sarsfield GAA Camogie Teams who are based in Willsbrook Park, it is estimated that there is currently in excess of one thousand girls competing and training, parents, visiting teams and supporters attending Willsbrook Park each week where there is currently no toilet facility.

Declaration of Roads to be Public Roads (If any)

That the Lucan-Clondalkin Area Committee recommends that the Manager take a flexible approach to implementing the 5 Year Playground Construction Programme in the Lucan Electoral Area, that he takes into account that there is no playground in Palmerstown or in the part of Lucan east of the Outer Ring Road, and consider the option of providing neighbourhood playgrounds at Hermitage Park, Ballyowen Park and Waterstown Park, with a possibility reduction in size and construction costs of the proposed Griffeen Valley Park playground near the 12th Lock.

"That the Manager examine the rear lane way at St. Brendans Crescent Greenhills with a view to dealing with rat running and industrial and domestic fly tipping as this particular rear lane has houses backing onto it from one side and is bounded by the Greenhills Park on the other side and makes this more vulnerable to the issues outlined".

"That the Manager give an up to date statement on the examination of the lighting in Greenhills Estate which took place sometime ago as much of the lighting is very old and needs upgrading."

"That the Manager either (a) extend the pathway from Springfield House to the bollards at the junction with Springfield Avenue and reinstate the area around the manhole adjacent ot the entrance to Springfield House or (b) extend the tarmac to the boundary wall of Springfield House in the pedestrian section of Springfield Road.  This area has never been completed and has been an eyesore for years where the profusion of  weeds attracts rubbish, litter and refuse and will the Manager state when this work will be carried out."
