That the Lucan-Clondalkin Area Committee recommends that the Manager take a flexible approach to implementing the 5 Year Playground Construction Programme in the Lucan Electoral Area, that he takes into account that there is no playground in Palmerstown or in the part of Lucan east of the Outer Ring Road, and consider the option of providing neighbourhood playgrounds at Hermitage Park, Ballyowen Park and Waterstown Park, with a possibility reduction in size and construction costs of the proposed Griffeen Valley Park playground near the 12th Lock.

Materials (stones) have remained on site since then in order to finish the remainder of wall. Stones at this site have been removed by members of the public on a regular basis.
