NEWCASTLE ROAD BUS PRIORITY MEASURES
(circulated herewith)
"To ask the Manager to outline the scheme of works that are planned for the maisonettes in Limekiln Green and to thank the Manager for the painting that was carried out recently?"
"To ask the Manager to examine the gateway between house no 142 and 143 Limekiln Green to see if they can be locked as there is anti social activity in the laneway and there is constant littering with late night drinking and the dumping of old furniture?"
"To ask the Manager if he is aware of the dumping of domestic rubbish in black plastic bags at the car park gates of Tymon Park on Limekiln Road and to ask what measures can be taken to stop this activity?"
"To ask the Manager to indicate when extra green bin collections will be arranged as most residents are now recycling more material and the capacity of the green bin is not capable of dealing with the volume of waste and will he make a statement on the issue?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for the removal of roots left from a cherrytree which was removed from a grass verge (details supplied) as the resident cannot maintain the grass verge as it is impossible to cut the grass because of the roots and it also is dangerous as it could cause an accident?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange a clean up of Greenhills Park at the rear of the boundary of Greenhills College as there is some anti social behaviour at this spot?"
"To ask the Manager, in view of the absence of destruction of planted items at the bus turning bay Limekiln Avenue, to plant shrubs, wall creepers and additional trees in order to enhance this location as it is a main focal point in the area and these works would help to develop the village concept that was started recently?"
To ask the Manager to make a full statement concerning the recent large scale theft of bin tags and their subsequent re-sale for illegal purposes, to state the total number of instances that were brought to the attention of South Dublin County Council in recent months, if alternative bin tags or a replacement service is provided to customers of the Council where this happens, and if he has had discussions with An Garda Siochana in respect of this new phenomena, and if he will make a statement on the matter?
