Report on Designation of Casual Trading Area outside Palmerstown Cemetery.
To ask the Manager if the Parks Department would provide a list of the long grass verges not outside houses in Liffey Valley Park which are included in the schedule of grass cutting along with open spaces, and if in particular the Parks Department would advise if the long length of grass verge along Liffey Avenue opposite the entrance to Liffey Place is included?
That the Manager would report in detail on what assistance is being provided to the Council for Lucan's 1st Youth Café, scheduled to open in a number of weeks, including from the Health Services Executive, owing to the advantages, such as health advantages, such a Youth Café will provide for our young adults.

That this Committee requests the Manager to conduct an Environmental Survey of the general area at the Griffeen Local Centre, Griffeen Glen Estate and Griffeen Valley Educate Together National School, Lucan, and that this survey will include an audit of the number of litter bins installed in the area, including at Bus Stops as I had previously requested in my representations to this Committee Meeting, including on 27th June 2006, 26th September 2006 and 24th October 2006. And that the Manager would report in detail on what recent initiatives he has introduced or will introduce to help alleviate the increases in litter related problems in the area, including the amount of beer cans strewn around the local community, including in local residents gardens.
That a report be brought to the meeting regarding the possibility of employing extra staff for graffiti removal
That this Committee asks the County Council to investigate the possibility of Step Down Facilities for evicted tenants to ensure they don't go to local private estates.

That the Manager in Environmental Services, will report on detail on what measures he will take, including consulting with the Managers in the Planning and Development Departments, to help resolve the dreadful negative effects on the local community in Moy Glas Estate and the wider Lucan Community, owing to the damages to the environment because of open fires being lit regularly, gatherings where public and underage drinking of alcohol take place, and late night noise regularly occurs in the site I have identified in Moy Glas Estate, Lucan , and as depicted in the photographs I have forward to the Manager separately.
That this Council repairs the wall/railing at CB Sacks, 9th Lock Road, Clondalkin, before it collapses on to the footpath.
That the Lucan-Clondalkin recognises the importance of the Council's large housing construction programme in Balgaddy, three phases of which are occupied, with a fourth about to be allocated, requests the Manager to arrange for a separate meeting of officials with Councillors in early January to consider a range of issues arising in the development, including resources allocated to Estate Management, support for residents groups, play facilities, car parking, security and the general issue of the Council and other agencies providing the resources necessary to promote the emergence of an inclusive, safe and sustainable Community in the area.
That the Manager agrees to restore the parkland between Alpine Heights Estate and the Fonthill/New Nangor Roads and could he give a timescale for the work.
That this Committee ask the Manager if, in the context of the Council's Five Year Playground Programme, he will look at the playground needs of families in those areas of Lucan and Palmerstown which do not have playground facilities within reasonable walking distance of their homes, and make a report on the matter?
That a report be given on progress regarding Valhalla and the facility at New Road.
That the Manager will report in detail on what progress is being made on the project of the All-Weather Facility in Lucan following the introduction of my earlier Motion at the September '07 Area Committee Meeting on the need for this facility, including any helpful consultation with local established sporting clubs in the Lucan area.
