That this Committee calls on the Manager with regard to the fact that the extension of the LUAS to Garter Lane is a substantial public transport gain, it is proposed that a variation procedure be initiated to provide for the re-zoning as follows:
That the Golf Village development at Fortunestown Lane be zoned to permit planning applications to increase Class 1 Retails space by way of mezzanine floors, change of use Class 2 and 4 to Class 1, the reduction of restaurant areas and other minor adjustments - Plot M on Map.
These changes will not alter the already approved footprint of the buildings.

That the Lucan-Clondalkin Area Committee compliments the Manager and staff of the Planning Department on the completion of the Lucan VDS project, and proposes to the Manager that he would ask the VDS Steering Group to meet for the purpose of reviewing the VDS document and putting forward a proposal for the carrying out of one improvement project in Lucan Village which may attract funding from the Heritage Council and/or the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
That this Committee compliments Management on the work to date on Kennelsfort Road from the N4 to Wheatfield junction and requests that the Council
(1) complete the repairs to the Cold Cut junction and include the update at this junction recently discussed by this Committee and
(2) include a traffic ramp between the entrance to Palmerstown Court Estate and Palmerstown Manor Estate as requested in a motion by the undersigned in 2006.
To ask the Manager as a matter of urgency to reply to complaint S5030, which has been recorded with the Enforcement section since February of this year, yet to date the complainant has had no reply - the issues raised in this complaint are having a significant negative impact on the quality of life of residents in this area?

To ask the Manager for a report on the former derelict site (Cooney's Garage) Old Lucan Road, Palmerstown. It is now more of a derelict site since the No. 18 Bus terminus was moved here than it was prior to be taken over by the Council. It is an eyesore in a residential area and needs to be seriously cleaned up and made look respectable.
To ask the Manager to provide a timescale and update regarding the entrance to the Hermitage Park Estate in reference to the following areas;
