That the Manager gives an update with respect to the problems surrounding the new sound barrier wall constructed as part of the Outer Ring road project in the vicinity of the Kilmartin estate - to outline what proposals he has in mind to address the issues raised by residents acknowledging that problems have already arisenfor the community because of this wall.
That this Committee supports urgent action by the Roads Department in relation to Ard Scoil Mhuire where ongoing construction work to the rear of the school is posing a serious hazard to the children attending it - this Committee calls for the immediate construction of a pedestrian pathway accross the green open space to allow children walk safely to school.

This Committee calls for measures to be in place to ease the traffic congestion in the Old Court/Ballycullen area before the completion of the old court development plan.

To also ask the Manager to urge the Council to remove the graffiti within 24 hours from all walls, be they private or Council owned and that An Garda Síochana deal with perpetrators to the full extent of the law, and if perpetrators are housed by the local authority that the severity of their actions be considered in relation to their tenancy agreement?

Report on Quarterly Statistics for Anti Social Behaviour
That this Committee requests the Manager to conduct an Environmental Survey of the general area at the Griffeen Local Centre, Griffeen Glen Estate and Griffeen Valley Educate Together National School, Lucan, and that this survey will include an audit of the number of litter bins installed in the area, including at Bus Stops as I had previously requested in my representations to this Committee Meeting, including on 27th June 2006, 26th September 2006 and 24th October 2006. And that the Manager would report in detail on what recent initiatives he has introduced or will introduce to help alleviate the increases in litter related problems in the area, including the amount of beer cans strewn around the local community, including in local residents gardens.

To ask the Manager to report on the total amount of green open space that will be provided as part of the Adamstown SDZ, not including grass verges, small sites etc. which cannot be used for pitch purposes, and if he will list the possible number of playing pitches that will be provided as part of the Adamstown SDZ, and how will it be determined which number of pitches will be allocated to each sporting code? What indoor sporting and leisure facilites are scheduled to be providedin Adamstown and what role could a future organisation "Adamstown - Together Through Sport", representing a union of sporting organisations in Adamstown, possibly play in the future?
