That this Committee acknowledges the importance of the control of litter and illegal dumping, and an efficient system for the collection of household waste and recycling material, and requests the Manager to make a  report outlining the measures to be implemented by the Council, in the Lucan and Clondalkin Electoral Areas, to monitor the implementation of the Council's Bye-Laws in regard to Household Waste Presentation and what steps will be taken to advise residents of the measures to be taken.

That this Committee notes the increased extent of litter on the roads, and in the parks and open spaces, in Greenfort, Shancastle and Old Tower Estates, and requests the Manager for a report on the measures taken to keep these areas tidy, by way of regular cleansing and special cleansing measurers?

That this Committee requests the Manager to write to the Minister responsible asking that the policy of not permitting purchasers of Affordable Housing to trade up when their circumstances dictate that they move to new location or larger residence.

That this Committee now requests the Manager to agree to an independent noise measure review on the Outer Ring Road at the residential areas in Lucan, as a result of inconsistent, and varying types, shapes and materials used in boundary treatments provided, and in many cases none, as part of the Outer Ring Road up-grading works now completed. Many residents on the Outer Ring Road have incurred increased noise levels which are affecting their quality of life and have made exhaustive efforts to have these issues addressed - to date with no success.

That the Manager presents an updated report on my earlier motion that a survey of road nameplates in the Lucan Clondalkin area take place and in particular why the road nameplate on Kennelsfort Green has not been replaced as this is a matter of serious concern from a health and safety perspective.

"That this Committee calls on the Manager, to refuse permission of planning application reg ref:SD08A/0740 as it is in very close proximity to the residential caravan park on the Belgard Road contrary to section 12.10.1 of the Development plan and with particular reference to 12.10.1.iii, while taking into account that retention is not being sought that the application refers to a replacement structure deeming it a fresh application".

"That this Committee calls on the Manager, to write to the Department of Education and Science and the Minister for Education personally to express this Committees complete dissatisfaction with the fact that we are waiting for a response regarding the identification of a site for Scoil Cáitlín Maude in Knockmore since a motion in my name was passed in June of 2007 and that we find it unacceptable that the pupils and staff of the School and the Staff and elected representatives of this Council continue to be ignored despite the many reminder letters that have been sent to the Department regarding the request by the administration staff of this Committee".

This Committee calls on  the manager to  outline the  precise reasons for the  cutbacks in  opening  for Bohernabreena Cemetery, on when the decision was made,   instructs him to give a detailed  report on how this decision is effecting  elderly visitors or drivers with a disability or an impairment and calls for the reinstatment of opening times for mourners.
