QUESTION: Councillor S. Crowe

"To ask the Manager is he aware of the difficulties being experienced by allotment holders in Bohernabreena regarding the water taps in the area and their difficulty accessing fittings to the hose pipes and is there any proposals to resolve this ongoing problem?"

REPLY:

The Council is not aware of any problems in the Friarstown Allotment Facility with regards to connecting hose pipes to taps.  If allotment holders are experiencing such difficulties they should contact the Property Management Section of the Development Department directly (email -developdept@sdublincoco.ie or phone 4149045).   Allotment holders are advised of the terms and conditions attached to the allotments, whereby hose pipes may be used provided they do not prevent other plot holders having access to water supply and any unauthorised connections to the water supply will not be facilitated.
