To ask the Manager to arrange a special briefing for members of the Lucan Area Committee on the feasibility and likely costs of installing 'Netwatch'-type CCTV monitoring with movement sensors and remote live-voice warning systems in those parks with recognised problems of anti-social behaviour including Glenaulin Park, Willsbrook Park, Griffeen Valley Park (general vicinity of the playground and Arthur Griffith Park) and Watertown Park (Riversdale end not currently covered by CCTV) so that members can consider such proposals in the context of the 2011 budget? Provision of such CCTV systems would assist in deterring act of anti-social behaviour, protect valuable amenities such as playgrounds and contribute positively to the County Manager's policy of reducing ‘the cost of yesterday’.
To ask the Manager for a report on compliance by the developers of Áras na Cluaine, Clondalkin with all conditions in the Planning Permission for the development, and if he can include in his report information on the compliance, or otherwise, of all parts of the development with statutory Fire Regulations?
To ask the Manager to confirm that he will now not be proceeding with the Part 8 proposal to construct a road link between Castle Road (Esker Meadows View) and Esker Lane, noting the unanimous vote of this Area Committee at the September meeting in support of my motion recommending the Manager NOT to proceed with the Part 8 proposal; and to further agree that road markings requested by Esker Meadows Residents Association should now be installed?

That the Manager would provide information on the number of public (i.e. owned by the Council or provided on Council land) outdoor Tennis Courts in the Lucan and Clondalkin Electoral Areas, and request the Park's Department to investigate the costs of upgrading the facility adjacent to the Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre, and providing additional public Tennis Courts in the area.
To ask the Manager if he will advise the Area Committee on the number of "Disabled" Parking Spaces, as a percentage of the total number of designated parking spaces, which are provided in and around the Supermarket, Áras Rualach and Rowlagh Community Centre in Rowlagh?

Traffic Count in the Vicinity of La Banca Restaurant, Lucan Village
That the Manager would present a detailed report for discussion on the Taking-In-Charge of the large strip of green space off Griffeen Avenue, and on the left hand side to the entrance to Hayden's Park, Tullyhall and Rossberry Estates, Lucan. As part of this report would the Manager report on his plans for the removal of large signage in situ for years on this strip of land, that has been the cause of annoyance for local residents in these three estates. Can the Manager assure all the residents of Hayden's Park, Tullyhall and Rossberry Estates that this green area will be serviced by the Council in the future, including grass cutting, tidying etc. Finally, this Committee acknowledges with thanks the installation of directional signage for Hayden's Park, Tullyhall and Rossberry Estates from the roundabout on Griffeen Avenue as I have previously requested.
