To please outline in his report the effects of the recent re-deployment of staff into this area of work and what further action is planned to address the issue of littering across South Dublin County?
To ask the Manager if he is aware that the increased level of leased or rented-out houses in private residential estates is leading to a discernable breakdown in the family-owned ethos of neighbourhoods and can he please indicate what options are open to the Council to support local communities and individual residents in dealing with related issues pertaining to health and safety that arise?
To compliment the Manager and staff on the role allocated to South Dublin County Council by the Minister for the Environment in relation to the “Fixyourstreet” initiative and to ask for a report on the working of the pilot to date especially in relation to the response from the public in terms of participation and feedback?
To ask the Manager for a report on the maintenance of the grass verges/medians across the County roads especially on main routes such as the N4, N7 and N81, how often these have been cut/serviced in 2011, when they will be cut again and to indicate if the standard of maintenance of the grass margins/medians of these routes is satisfactory?
To ask the Manager for a Report on the work of the County Childcare Committee and if he will provide information on activities/projects in which the Committee is involved in different parts of the County?
To ask the Manager if he will make a short explanatory report on the system of rateable valuations which is now applied by the National Valuation Office to commercial /business premises in South Dublin County, if he will confirm that the valuations applied are based on imputed rental income assigned to premises and if the scheme in operation is subject to change/review in rateable valuation if actual levels of rentals derived from commercial/business premises in the County fall?
To ask the Manager for a Report on the number of persons with house/home loans from the Council, how many have fallen into arrears with repayments, and the approach adopted by the Council, as a lender, in working with mortgage holders who are experiencing repayment difficulties?
To ask the Manager to convey the compliments of the elected Members to the management and staff of all Departments of the Council for their work and effectiveness in maintaining a high level of services to residents of South Dublin in the current year in a context of reduced resources?

That this Council congratulates the Irish Ten Pin Bowling Association for successfully hosting the recent 2011 Junior Triple Crown in South Dublin County and commends the Irish teams for the awards they received. Furthermore that this council acknowledges their success as a sporting achievement.

That South Dublin County Council will play a role to support citizens who are caring for relatives/friends affected by serious mental illness.

That the Members of this Council, in the context of considering a review of its current Development Contribution Schemes, requests that the NTA demonstrates plans for increased service levels within South Dublin County that would justify sustaining the current levies under the Section 49 Scheme adopted to contribute to the Kildare Route Project.
That this council calls on both the Manager and Dublin Fire Brigade to carry-out an independent and transparent fire services risk assessment for all areas of our county to identify priority service improvements needed given the very serious concerns that exist over the excessive journey-times for responding fire services to reach highly-populated areas of our county furthest away from existing fire stations.
Given the ongoing effects of the financial crises on families and individuals and conscious of the hardship and stress being experienced by many homeowners in this County, the elected members of South Dublin County Council calls on the County Manager to write to an Taoiseach asking that the Government put in place equitable and formal structures that will address the situation in which different categories of mortgage holders find themselves in in relation to their private residence, so that they may be able to re-negotiate and if necessary, re-structure their mortgages that will be economically beneficial to themselves and their families, in the context of debt sharing and in the interest of the common good.
That the Council congratulates the players, management and members of Shamrock Rovers FC, on their great achievement in European football competitions, and expresses its support for the development of the FAI and its activities, including its League and Cup competitions.
