"That this Committee expresses its deep dismay that the open-space along the access road from Griffeen Avenue to Rossberry, Tullyhall & Haydens Park estate has not yet been taken-in-charge; requests a detailed report on both the status of negotiations regarding this matter and on the options available to the Council to secure the financing of the work required for preparations of necessary legal documentation; and further requests that Council management, at the highest level, give this matter priority attention."

This Committee calls for the removal of all graffiti from the hoardings and a general tidy-up of the site and its surrounds in the immediate future.

"That this Committee, further to my previous motions, requests the Manager to provide a detailed update on the survey of community space requirements in the Lucan area; to report on proposals to address the deficit in indoor community space in Lucan; and to report on the feasibility of providing a community sports hall as part of the proposed Lucan South Community College development."
That this Committee calls on the Manager to reject the current planning application SD12A/0168 at Killinarden based on overdevelopment of lands at the base of a scenic mountain area, lack of infrastructure to deal with the scale, lack of additional school places where local schools are already under immense pressure and the almost entire opposition from the Community to the proposal.

That this Committee commends the Parks Department on the works concluded to date as part of the 2011-12 Arboricultural Programme. This Committee requests a full list of trees dealt with and outstanding works in the Tallaght Central and Tallaght South areas. This Committee further requests a plan of action for the upcoming 2012-13 programme, and urges the Parks Department to examine closely representations which have been on file for a number of years for inclusion.

"That this Committee notes that the Council is reviewing the Pay Parking Bye-Laws in the County and proposes that the each household in Sarsfield Park and Lucan Village be allocated a free (Zero charge) Resident Permit, 1 free visitor permit (with the house number /address of the householder identified on the permit) and a second or subsequent visitor permit at a cost of 20 Euro."
That the Manager provide a small amount of additional passes for the Ballymount Recycling centre to each of the Community Centre’s to be used in a sensible manner in an effort to deal with the possibility of debris being produced on our green spaces during the upcoming Holloween period.
