That this Committee supports the introduction of a pilot laneway cleaning schedule in the Dublin 12 area under the remit of this Committee along the lines of the street cleansing schedule; that the pilot project be designed and implementation begun in advance of the June Area Committee meeting; and that a review of the pilot be carried out in early 2014 to examine its effectiveness in combating dumping, improving visual amenity and providing a public service to the residents of the area.

That this Committee, while acknowledging the excellent work carried out by the Litter Wardens and Cleansing Crews calls on the Manager to arrange for the removal of graffiti from lamp posts, utility boxes and walls in the Perrystown, Whitehall road and Dangan area which have become an eyesore for the community.”

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the installation of a number of 'children at play' signs on Russell Place in a effort to reduce the speed of vehicles through this Road which has a large number of young children living on it as the calls for the Rd to be made into a 'cul de sac'could not be realised due to taking in charge issues.

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide a report which states whether or not there could be oportunities for subsidised 'Pop Up Shops' in the Tallaght Town Centre Lands (Masterplan lands) in vacant private or Council owned units which could give entrepreneurs an opportunity to test the viability of an economic proposal in the area with the possibility of success and jobs to follow".
