Road boundaries and finishes
That this Council directs the Chief Executive to include an appropriate new policy, objectives and actions in the Development Plan requiring the provision of an attractive finish to the margins and boundaries of all new roads, or sections of road, not fronted directly by buildings, including the provision of attractive grass verges, landscaping and boundary treatments as appropriate; and to generally limit the provision of bare, mass concrete walls as boundary walls to new roads.

Preserving parking spaces
That this Council directs the Chief Executive to include an appropriate new policy, objectives and actions in the Development Plan to require the preservation of the current quantum of parking space in our County’s Villages and to prevent any net reduction in the numbers of parking space in the Villages unless otherwise approved by the elected members for exceptional reasons.

"To ask the Chief Executive for a report on protected structures in our area. Please include in the report a full list of those structures and provide details on the process for a. designating something a protected structure, b. the decision/appeal process for a protected structure?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to undertake an illegal dumping check of Whitechurch Road and College Road Rathfarnham. Residents have noticed a considerable increase in the number of full black bags apparently dumped along this road from the Tuning Fork right up to Kilmashogue Roundabout. Please advise the best way for our residents to report incidents - should photos be included for example. Please also publish details of our Litter Management Plan to include plans/solutions to reduce/eliminate illegal dumping?"
