QUESTION: Councillor E. Higgins

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on actions being taken to monitor and to cease/prevent activity at Windmill Hill, Rathcoole outside of the planning conditions for the waste recycle facility at this location.

REPLY:

This matter remains under investigation.  However in regard to this query there is a current application with An Bord Pleanála for Substitute Consent for on-going quarrying that remains to be determined.  The Planning Authority has concerns that this application with An Bord Pleanála may impact on any Enforcement Proceedings.

The lands have been inspected.  The report on this inspection is currently under consideration.
