"That this committee being very concerned at the health and safety risks posed by noise and air pollution, exasperated by the number of HGVs and other unauthorised commercial traffic, on the outer Ring Road which have been a source of stress for the residents of the Moy Glas Estate for many years now, calls on Council Management 1. to procure estimates to replace/infill the following three sections of low railings with brick wall of the same height, look, feel and treatment as bordering boundary treatments: (a) low section of the railings at Moy Glas Lawn facing the Outer Ring Road (100meters approx.); (b) Low section of railings at Moy Glas Road fcing the Oujter Ring Road ((100 meters approx.); Low section of railings facing homes on Moy Glas Dene running from the Outer Ring Road around the former from Balgaddy RoaD (150 Meters approx.) to finish at a point fronting number 7 Moy Glas Dene. 2. That Council Management, once funding is identified and secured, immediately implement revisions to boundary treatment as outlined in (1) above and that the Manager responsible bring a detailed report with the above Estimates to the March meeting of this committee where further necessary action can be taken by this committee to identify the source(s) of funding."
