That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to take appropriate action to help those who are currently sleeping rough in the Tallaght area; will he confirm if he has any definite information in this regard and will he outline his proposals to deal with the matter.
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm plans for effective public consultation in respect of his proposals to provide the already announced Council Housing on 2 sites in Springfield Estate, Tallaght at Ashgrove/Fernwood/Lanndale Lawns and also Maplewood Road and in reporting will he also state what schedule is now being followed in respect of his proposals?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to detail plans for the work schedule in respect of next years Voting Register for all areas covered by the Tallaght Area Committee?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to present a report on the recent Play Space meetings in Kilnamanagh and Kingswood Heights and will he detail actions he plans to deal with any of the concerns expressed regarding his proposals. Will he also detail the schedule now being followed?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm any actions taken and proposed in respect of issues brought to his attention in recent times by St Marks GAA Club, Cookstown Road, Tallaght?"
"To ask the Chief Executive if he would write to Dublin Bus Management asking for confirmation of their plans to provide additional bus shelters in the area covered by the Tallaght Area Committee?"
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to take effective action in response to all the issues raised by Kingswood Heights Residents Association at their most recent deputations meeting which were then the subject of a report by the Planning Department in response to this members question No.9 at our meeting of Tuesday March 29 last and will he present a detailed response in that regard.
"To ask the Chief Executive if he is aware of the campaign to provide a further public Taxi Rank in the Tallaght area; will he confirm if he has had any contact in that regard and if any potential sites have been identified and will he state if he has plans to respond to the campaign?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm proposals in respect of his Tourism Development Strategy to ensure that visitors are attracted to the Tallaght region. Will he outline his plans in that regard?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to present an update on plans to ensure that all the Industrial Estates in Tallaght present a positive image and thus encourage investment potential to create employment?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report regarding the roll out of the Children at Play signage in the Tallaght area, as to which areas have been completed and can he indicate if any other areas, in particular St. Aongus, Tymon North and Tymonville Estates, will be listed for signage this year?"
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to have the Parks Department look at the possibility of giving over the responsibility of opening and closing the gates at Jobstown playground to Jobstown Estate Management.
