Litter Management  Plan

Motion
Meeting:
Submitted by:
Councillor D. O'Donovan
Responsibility:

"That the Chief Executive installs street lighting on Cruagh Road, Rockbrook.  The road is pitch dark by early evening/night. Locals regularly cycle this road along with hundreds of other casual cyclists and it is extremely dangerous for both pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. There are lots of young children living on the road and most are afraid to even attempt to walk on the road after dusk (even during daylight hours it is dangerous)."

Could more litter bins be installed in the entrances to Tymon North Park, particularly in view of the amount of dog littering that is taking place. Dog owners are leaving dog litter in plastic bags hanging on trees and shrubbery because of insufficient number of bins.
