"That this Committee notes its deep concern regarding the potential increase in traffic arising from the Hellfire Club Dublin Mountains Flagship on Old Military Road, Kilakee Rd, Gunny Hill, Stocking Lane and adjacent roads; that, in the interests of safety for all road users and in the interests of all using this route, including local residents, the Council fully explore alternatives to private motor transport to this site; and that the Council seek to improve access to this site via dedicated cycle routes, rights of way for walkers, shuttle buses and other alternative modes."

This Council being very concerned at the barriers faced by persons with a disability and their families in getting to Hospital and other services in the shortest possible time, now calls on the Minister for Transport to regulate use of Bus Lanes by permitting vehicles that display the standard ‘Disability Parking Permit” to use the Bus Lanes at all times. That the contents of this motion be forwarded to the Minister for Transport and the Minister for Justice and that it be copied to all other City and County Councils inviting them to join the campaign
