MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this Committee calls for a review on the operation of the “Living with Trees” policy given that this is the first time such a policy has been made and given that it is now three years in existence."

REPORT:

South Dublin County Council's Tree Management Policy 2015-2020 'Living With Trees' was adopted at a meeting of the Council on July 13, 2015. This is a 5-Year management policy which is now into its second year and is scheduled for a mid-term review during 2017 in accordance with the relevant specific action listed in the Action Plan which accompanies and supports the Tree Management Policy. It is intended to carry out this mid-term review during the second half of 2017.
