I have raised numerous motions and questions down the years and proposed a number of options, some of which have been implemented, e.g. (a) the bollards on the lower end of the Kennelsfort/Woodfarm Lane; (b) the bollards at the top of the lower lane Kennelsfort Road/The Ave; (c) the bollards at the top of Wheatfield/Oak Court and the (e and f) two sets of bollards mid-way on the Kennelsfort/The Ave, top and bottom. Dumping and anti-social behaviour persists and it’s now time to review the positon and to consider the long standing request for gates to replace the bollards at (a) and to consider CCTV (perhaps the mobile unit) and to include the cleaning and maintenance of the laneways in the review.
