"That this Area Committee calls on the Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton TD, to put a plan in place to provide more Autism Spectrum Disorder units in schools in the Lucan area. Currently parents are having difficulty finding place’s in schools in this area for their children. Parents are having to travel across the city to get an education for their children. Lucan have one of the highest school going populations in the country and we need more ASD units in this area."
That in the interests of reducing waste and litter in our county this Council will investigate the possibility of installing public drinking water fountains where possible in parks, tourist attractions and any other busy locations throughout the County.
"That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive provide a report on the recent act of vandalism in Griffeen Valley Playground and for this report to include the total number of reports of vandalism that have been reported since the playground was opened. Also, if the Council have any plan in place to prevent more damage to the playground."

This group is made up of regular users of Tymon Park and are keenly interested in ensuring that the Park is maintained to a very high standard, are also seeking notifications of any major works in the Park that can impede usage and are looking to interact, in the interests of health and safety and indeed, to inform of damage or anti social activities, with the Council, in the best interests of all Park users?"

"Given that residential development in Adamstown with its attractive SDZ status is taking much longer than expected; and given the current housing crises which is most severe in the Dublin region, this Area Committee requests that the Chief Executive formally write to the Minister for Housing with a proposition for a Pilot Housing Scheme(s) involving appropriate support from the Minister that would enable SDCC, alone or in collaboration with one or more recognised Housing Agencies, to acquire residential land in Adamstown, in one or a number of plots, either by land swop or through purchase, so as to build 750 to 1000 Social and Affordable Housing units, as a matter of urgency, for persons on the current SDCC housing list."
"That this Area Committee asks the Chief Executive to arrange inspection of the walls in the green area leading from The Park Millbrook Lawns to the Seskin View Road. Residents have complained that the walls surrounding the grass area have become dangerous as there are holes in them and they could come down on a child if they climbed up on them. Can you arrange to have this area inspected and let residents know what works will be completed to make the walls safe."

This is a particularly busy stop used by a lot of children in the morning travelling to school, in bad weather parents in the area are forced to drive their children rather than using public transport."
"That this Committee asks the Chief Executive if the changing rooms at Brady’s Field can be upgraded, at present they are in very bad condition, the container currently has branches growing into it. At present Tymon Bawn FC have 3 senior teams using the pitches, but because of the lack of toilet and lighting in the changing rooms it means that no juvenile teams can play at that location."

Additionally, that the Chief Executive gives a report on what actions have been taken for those found not to be compliant, particularly around black spots."
"To ask the Chief Executive who is in ownership of the land beside Killinarden Enterprise Business Park that is across from South City Business park? To additionally ask, if it is Council owned that the Council consider making use of this land by expanding the Enterprise Business Park for the purpose of creating more local business and employment?"
