That this Committee discuss the short-, medium- and long-term plans for flood defences in areas under the remit of this County, and that the Manager report on responses specific to the area under the remit of this committee with regard to the major flood event of 24-25 October 2011. In expressing its support for all residents affected by the floods, this Committee asks the Manager to outline action plans for areas where serious and repeat flooding has occurred - such as the Whitehall Rd area adjacent to the Poddle.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to reinstate the missing ramp on Castletymon Road, located at the point in the road, just before the junction with St Aongus Road and adjacent to number 2 St Aongus Crescent.
