That this Council calls on  the Manager to report to this Council the number of parking fines that have been issued on Saturdays, in the area of Tallaght Village, between premises numbers 1 to 515, since the introduction of Pay and Park and will he also indicate the numbers of permits issued for this same area.

REPORT:

To date there has been  a total of  7 permits issued for Main Street, Tallaght. Of those issued, 5 are residential permits and 2 are visitor permits.

Parking fines are issued on a street by street basis so the following data is supplied for all fines on Main Street, Tallaght. Note: In the course of last year a total of 33 fines have been issued on Saturdays or significantly less than one per week.

The breakdown of the fines issued are as follows:

• 25 - Not having valid Pay and display ticket.
• 05 - Parking on double yellow Lines
• 03 - Parking on the footpath
