Following on from our motions and question of last month that the Manager would present a report on what has happened since then on the enforcement of the regulations with regard to trading from the street in Main Street, Clondalkin.  Could particular regard be given to the following issues:-

1. Items for sale, particularly clothing, being hung from the shop fronts

2. Items for sale being displayed on the pavement.

3. Shopkeepers seated on the public pavement in order to keep an eye on goods displayed on the public pavement.

Are these practices in contravention of the regulations and if so, why are they being tolerated on an ongoing basis.

That the Manager presents a report on the Window Replacement Programme in the Clondalkin Area.  Some residents who have been waiting for replacement windows and have been told that there is a list doubt the existence of a list.  Is there a list in operation?  How is the decision made about how to allocate the resources available for the Window Replacement Programme?
