In light of the national plan to have one million electric vehicles on the road by 2030, to ask the Chief Executive if SDCC has applied for the Government's Electric Vehicle Public Charge Point Grant and to provide a report on the matter.
To ask the manager for a report on the steps being taken to deal with the ongoing problem of illegal dumping and littering along Stocking Avenue, notably between the Stocking Lane and White Pines roundabouts. Has this area been identified as a hot spot for same? Illegal dumping and littering are unfortunately recurring issues in this location and a source of much disappointment and annoyance for local residents.
Application for Arts Grants
That the Manager reports on the plans for ramps within the RTFB area.
That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to investigate and fix the manhole shore outside (address provided)
That the Manager considers installing a pedestrian crossing at Ballyboden Road at the recently renovated pedestrian footbridge on Ballyboden Road, thereby connecting Willowbank directly to both sides of Ballyboden Road. The closest pedestrian lights are some distance away
That schools will be invited to work with SDCC in relation to installation of bike stands that have received NTA funding from the July Jobs Stimulus programme. This will mean positive engagement and collaboration between SDCC and school leaders in the decision of where and when works will take place and the ability for schools to be able to communicate with SDCC in a timely manner on such projects.
Traffic Ramp Programme of Works 2020
That long awaited and urgently required footpath repairs are carried out at Orchardstown Park in Rathfarnham. The footpaths have deteriorated significantly, are badly in need of repair and at this stage constitute a dangerous trip hazard for residents in the area, particularly elderly residents.

This committee is aware of the work carried out in regards to implementation of safety measures in and around housing estates, schools etc. A lot of emphasis is around installing ramps. What can we do as a council to promote other measures available. Could the councils social media platforms be looked at. it has been successful in many other awareness programmes.
Proposed Declaration of Roads to be Public Roads (No Business)
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on St. Joseph's Rd, Greenhills, Dublin 12 in relation to tree maintenance in that area. I was advised recently that discussion is required with residents before tree pruning works can be carried out due to a previously made commitment to residents in relation to the replanting of trees where others had been cut down. Can you also please advise as to why replanting discussion is holding up tree pruning? Can you please provide information as to what this commitment involves, when it was made, how discussion will be facilitated given the current situation and when that will take place and what the Council would like to do for this street in terms of replanting? Can I also ask in relation to a tree outside of 20 St Josephs Rd. Residents report that it had been agreed that this tree needed to be removed in 2016 but it is still in place. I am not in favour of removing trees without good reason but it would seem that SDCC were in favour of it so must have had justification.
That this committee asks that a pilot scheme be trialled in this LEA which will turn children's art that depict anti-dog fouling messaging into official posters that can be put up in an area. If successful, this could become a county wide initiative with local children creating art work for their local communities. This will create awareness, open up the conversation and help link in people's minds the impact and harms that dog fouling can have on children, their play and their health.
To ask the Chief Executive for a list of all residents associations/neighnourhood watches/local resident groups which deal with the Council and whether they are registered with the PPN.
To ask the Chief Executive for an estimated timeline for the beginning of the Neilstown Shopping Centre District Enhancement Programme.
