The basketball court in Dodder Valley has seen increased use over the last year. Tallaght Area Committee requests that new stanchions, backboards and hoops be installed. Cllr Kieran Mahon.
That the Manager reports on the current status of all Tidy Town groups in the RTFB LEA, specifically in relation to governance, funding provided over the past five years and accounts filed in relation to same.
To ask the Manager what the current plans are in relation to noise pollution in the Castlefield estate, following on from the latest government report on noise pollution in Dublin.
That the Manager commits to planting a wildflower meadow on the grass verge at the top of the Scholarstown Road - see map attached. The area is difficult to keep cut and tidy and it would really enhance the area to cultivate some colour along this busy road.
To ask the Manager to redesign the cycle track at Taylor's Lane where it meets the private shops (Costcutter). That such a cycle track should be brought back behind where the cars are parked. To provide a report on the safety of this track in its current state and to ask if this cycle track is designed to DMURS and in accordance with the National Cycle Manual.
To ask the Chief Executive for an update in relation to the proposed upgrade in public lighting for Rathfarnham Wood
That this Council removes the rotten seating in Rathfarnham Castle Park and replaces it with suitable benches as soon as possible
To ask this Council to set out, in tabular form by LEA, the income generated from permitting third party advertising on public spaces e.g. roundabouts for 2018,2019 and 2020, together with details of any proposed changes to this scheme going forward.
That the small bin at the top of Woodview Cottage Green, as per photo attached, be replaced with a large bin sufficient to cope with the amount of rubbish being discarded, noting the footfall in the area.
That the 30 minutes free parking and details of how to access it on the parking meters, as per photo attached, be high lighted please to increase awareness amongst members of the public that it is there and how to access it.
To ask the Chief Executive for an update as regards the ongoing works on the Grange Road in Rathfarnham and when it is anticipated these works will be completed.
That this Council writes to the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth expressing our support for a ban on all forms of conversion therapy in respect of LGBT+ people and condemning this abhorrent practice.
To ask the Chief Executive for the amount outstanding in development levies currently, the amount outstanding long term where legal action may now be required and if a statement is available?
To ask the Chief Executive the number of housing rent accounts in arrears currently and the number of these accounts in arrears more than five years, and if a statement can be made?
This area committee asks the Chief Executive to examine the condition of footpaths on Ballyboden Road, in particular between 159-197 Ballyboden Road and arrange repairs as required.
To ask the Chief Executive the total amount received by SDCC under the commercial rates waiver, the amount given by SDCC under the restart grant and if a statement can be made on these items?
To call on the Manager to install age friendly car parking spaces outside Dr Lombards Medical Centre on Mainstreet Lucan
To ask the Chief Executive if Covid restrictions have had any effect on the programme to complete the work on the 2022 Voting Register and will he furnish a statement in the matter?
To ask the Chief Executive to present an update on all current Council Housing projects throughout our County; will he details new completion dates where Covid restrictions have impacted on building programmes and will he make a general statement?
