To ask the Chief Executive to advise whether it is possible to introduce a scheme whereby residents associations in Rathfarnham / Templeogue / Firhouse and Bohernabreena can apply to have their estate signage upgraded or replaced.
That this area committee agrees to write to DLRCOCO as this committee notes that there will be an increase in the number of concerts held in Marlay Park this coming June. This Committee further notes and acknowledges the work done by South Dublin County Council in working with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to mitigate disruption and inconvenience for local residents. With the increase in the number of concerts this Committee requests that a letter be sent to DLROCOC so that a revised plan is put together to ensure disruption to residents in this area are kept to a minimum.
To ask the Chief Executive to outline any plans to engage further with the Dublin Canvass project with a view to getting areas across South Dublin involved in public art?
To ask the Chief Executive to outline the process for residents of an estate to choose by plebiscite to change the name of their estate, or to only have the Irish language version of their estate name used?

"Can the manager please provide an update on upgrading public lighting in St. Aongus estate in Tallaght to LED lights?" Please provide an estimate on when the upgrades will be finished.
That the Manager refuse the licence application for a Section 254 Licence for an 18-metre telco street pole at the roundabout at Anne Devlin Road/Anne Devlin Park, Rathfarnham. The area is well served with fibre cables. Eir has upgraded fibre to their poles and Vodaphone has also upgraded their Cable-Link network to fibre. The area is also served with similar telco large poles one opposite the Blue Haven Pub at Ballyroan Road. And at the other end of Ballyroan Road at the entrance to Glendoher Estate there is another large telco pole serving the area.
