Housing Delivery Update Report
To ask the Chief Executive if he has now finalised a programme of actions to deal with the challenges of the Bonfire Season through October; will he appreciate the concerns of many in the matter and make a statement?
To ask the Chief Executive to detail actions he is taking to ensure that all Council Housing Projects will be completed given the well publicised difficulties being experienced by builders; will he give details in respect of the Projects and make a statement?
To ask the Chief Executive to update members on the further development of the Council's Tourism Strategy; will he confirm discussions he has had in the matter and will he make a statement?
To ask the Chief Executive to confirm that he continues to take actions to control the use of Scramblers in our Parks and Open Spaces; will he details contacts he has had in respect of this problem and will he make a statement?
To ask the Chief Executive if he has any concerns in respect of water levels in the County; will he give assurances and make a statement?
That this committee agrees to designate the natural meadow area directly in front of the car park in Waterstown Park for the purpose of a 'Habitat Rehabilitation Project for Ground Nesting Birds'including species such as Larks, Meadow Pipits and Snipe. This would envisage construction of appropriate fencing of approximately 460mtrs amongst some other smaller specific requirements. (2 x attachments)
Older Persons' Council Project Update

To ask the manager to outline any plans for the corner area of Griffeen Valley Park, located off Haydens Lane and immediately behind Johnsbride Green, formerly designated for the purpose as a model car racing track. Furthermore, that this council agrees to explore this area to utilise this valuable public park space, whilst helping to offset any recent ASB at this location.
That this Area Committee write to the Minister for Transport and the NTA to demand that improvements are made to the 17, 75 and 175 bus routes following considerable hardship caused to residents in this area recently by late or cancelled bus services.
