South Dublin County Council supports the Animal Health & Welfare (Ban on Hare Coursing) Bill 2020 and will write to the Minister for Agriculture, calling for a ban on hare coursing.
To ask the Chief Executive if he will outline the number of families and individuals on the Housing List based in the Clondalkin, Rathcoole, Newcastle, and Saggart areas.
That this Council repairs the broken bumpy access tiles on either side of the new cycle track, beside the new bus stop island, at the hoarding on the corner of the Grange Road and Nutgrove Avenue as these tiles are important in detecting hazards for the blind or the visually impaired
That this Council writes to the Department of Transport to request that a web page be considered which would provide a single source of information where commuters could access real-time info in relation to all the buses which are due at a particular bus stop, including Go Ahead as well as Dublin Bus
"To ask Chief Executive if there are plans to replace the paving at the side of the Council building adjacent to the car park that is causing issues for wheel chair users and users of walking frames?"
Matters For Noting
To ask the manager has all/or any of Hunterswood estate Ballycullen be taking in charge by the council.
That this Committee agrees that the lane that runs from Greenfort Park to Greenfort Avenue is placed on a regular cleaning schedule. Residents have reported an increase in litter, illegal dumping, disused Nitrous Oxide cannisters in the lane and a lack of cleaning from the Council.

To ask the Chief Executive for a report from planning into how much of the original wall was to be kept at Floraville Lodge, Monastery Road, Clondalkin as set by An Bord Pleanála, the cladding that is being used is not in keeping with motion 70538 of the County Development plan? And to also ask what happened to the lodge gate?
To ask the Chief Executive what additional services/supports have been put in place to cater for the influx of Refugees and Asylum seekers into the Clondalkin LEA?
That this Area Committee requests that when work is being carried out on or along the Camac that Friends of the Camac are consulted, and a link person is appointed to liaise with Friends of the Camac so an agreed work plan can be carried out by Friends of the Camac.

(Dick became a member of the Irish Volunteers (founded by his uncle The O'Rahilly in 1913). He was with The O'Rahilly at Howth Gun Running (which The O'Rahilly organised) in 1914. He fought in the GPO in the 1916 Rising with his uncle The O'Rahilly and his teacher Patrick Pearse. His uncle The O'Rahilly was the only 1916 leader killed in action. That this County Council elected members condemn all forms of Racism and actively works together to combat racism and ask that SDCC does everything in its power and is pro-active to educate, inform and promote anti-racism in our communities and full community inclusion. We ask that a letter is sent to The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth asking him to consider what further supports he can put in place to help SDCC against racism and in the promotion of full community inclusion.
That the Manager details the emergency out of hours numbers for the public to access over the Christmas period when the offices are closed.
That the manager reports on how residents can apply to have speed ramps installed in their estates.
That the Manager makes the necessary arrangements to support the fundraising Christmas tree collection of Ballyboden St. Enda's GAA Club.
That the Manager Reports on the planning application submitted opposite the newly constructed Gaelscoil Knocklyon, specifically on the open green space used as parking for those construction workers. The understanding was that this open green space was under the charge and ownership of South Dublin County Council.
That the Manager reports on the current status of the €300K Have Your Say Project awarded to the Firhouse Community Centre.
