That this Area Committee calls on Council to provide a signal pedestrian crossing at the top of the Boot Road.

That this Area Committee agrees, that the bus service covering the Newcastle area is totally in adequate and calls upon Dublin Bus to increase the level of service scheduling until the bus connects new schedule is brought into service.

That this Area Committee ask if council can make the lock key from the "flag pole" at the 1916 commemorative garden available to facilitate the flying of the tri-color throughout Easter week.
To ask the Chief Executive when footpath repairs will be completed in the pinewoods area of Greenpark and also the Rockfield Drive /Boot Rd area where contractors appear to have left both areas prematurely and incomplete?
To ask the Chief Executive for a detailed explanation for the removal of the large mature Monterey Cypress Tree in Corkagh park. To explain if the tree was diseased and to what extent this had taken hold in the tree, and also, to indicate whether the council will flag the removal of individual mature trees to this committee for consideration in the future?
To ask the Chief Executive when work on the Teen Space and the Dog Park in Rathcoole Park is expected to commence and how long are both projects expected to take once works begin?
That the Council commits to immediately amending the current confusing and potentially dangerous positioning of the right turn arrow boxes at the busy school access entrance to Woodview and Airlie Heights, Lucan, off the Dodsboro Road, irrespective of where sensors were laid originally; or hopefully reports on works carried out since this motion was submitted some weeks prior; and if a statement can be made on the matter.
That this Area Committee agrees that the Council Management should establish a group involving An Gardaí, Councillors and other relevant stakeholders to develop a plan to address the rising levels of drug dealing and anti social behaviour in Corkagh Park, similar to the successful approach that was previously taken with St Cuthberts Park.
"To ask the manager for an update on the timeline to introduce the necessary wheelchair accessible parking adaptions in Palmerstown Village, outside the Stewarts facility and outside the Jass Hub.
That this Area Committee agrees to ask the Council to upgrade the grounds of Knockmitten basketball court. The council has done a fine job on the Calisthenics bars in the park but the basketball court is an eyesore. The request to line out the three-point line and install some polyester netting instead of the chain net.
To ask the Chief Executive will the tree maintenance team prune the overgrown tree outside Zip and Sew Rathcoole Village? The local residents feel the tree is quite dangerous.
To ask the Chief Executive to remove the tree stumps in place at Hillview, Rathcoole? The stumps impedes access to cars.
To ask the Chief Executive in light of an increasing issue with illegal dumping of household rubbish on Brownstown Lane, Newcastle, D22WD00 can we call for more inspections in this area?
That this Council considers installing bollards along the grass at Dispensary Lane to discourage cars from parking here as they block access for residents getting in and out of Loreto Abbey as well as really churning up the grass.
That this Council ensures that the uses of any new businesses proposed in the development of Rathfarnham Castle Stables and Courtyard shall complement rather than rival existing businesses in Rathfarnham Village, to maximise the benefit of this development for the area
That this Council considers installing more bins at Tymon Park, particularly near the football pitches
That this Council completes the promised hedgerow instead of railings at the boundary of the green at Knockcullen Rise.
