That this Area Committee ask to remove the incorrect road signs in Saggart, there had been an agreement to remove the incorrect ones in the meantime while waiting on the delivery of the new road signs.

That this Area Committee agrees that there is a need for SDCC to provide parking/loading bays to be increased at Elmfield Court Shops along 9th Lock Rd. This is a single lane traffic area which becomes congested when traffic attempts to access the shops here.
That this Area Committee writes to the owner of bawnogue shops and request they fix the many pot holes some that are damaging locals cars
To ask the manager and the CE to clearly set out in writing the measures now in place by South Dublin County Council, that compel all contractors of council housing / community centre and building projects to be legally compliant with industry best practice and provides for transparent equitable employment opportunities for locally qualified tradespeople.
That South Dublin County Council trial "hidden disability" parking spaces in the Rathfarnham/Templegoue/Firhouse/Bohernabreea area to accommodate those with hidden disabilities (such as autism or sensory issues who do not not have a blue badge). Hidden disability spaces will allow for parking next to community facilities and parks run by the council. A similar 'Sunflower Spaces' scheme runs in Waterford City and County Council.
