That this Area Committee requests that a physical sign identifying 'Popes Lane' is put up (see attached Map).  On the Logainm.ie website which is backed by DCU and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media as well as the EU,shows 'Popes Lane', (pedestrian lane at side of Central public house in Clondalkin village).

To ask the Chief executive for a detailed report on the Tidy Towns budget that explains why Tidy Towns funding was not allocated over the last 2 years from the 2022 TT budget ring fenced for all South Dublin TT groups only €24k from €100k was allocated and TT groups are also prohibited from applying for any other SDCC grants because the funding is there for them and voted on by Public Reps. So what happened to the missing €76k?

With regard to the recent spillage of sewage at the Weir at Mount Carmel, Firhouse, has the Council got an assurance that Irish Water has taken remedial action so as this overflow or blockage from the manhole will not reoccur and pollute the River Dodder. It takes away all the good work done on the Dodder Greenway paths, not to mention the health hazard.
