To ask the Chief Executive for a detailed report on the Clondalkin ACA and what investigations took place to extend it and the findings from same? What has been added onto Clondalkin ACA?
That this Area Committee requests that a physical sign identifying 'Popes Lane' is put up (see attached Map). On the Logainm.ie website which is backed by DCU and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media as well as the EU,shows 'Popes Lane', (pedestrian lane at side of Central public house in Clondalkin village).
To ask the Chief executive for a detailed report on the Tidy Towns budget that explains why Tidy Towns funding was not allocated over the last 2 years from the 2022 TT budget ring fenced for all South Dublin TT groups only €24k from €100k was allocated and TT groups are also prohibited from applying for any other SDCC grants because the funding is there for them and voted on by Public Reps. So what happened to the missing €76k?
With regard to the recent spillage of sewage at the Weir at Mount Carmel, Firhouse, has the Council got an assurance that Irish Water has taken remedial action so as this overflow or blockage from the manhole will not reoccur and pollute the River Dodder. It takes away all the good work done on the Dodder Greenway paths, not to mention the health hazard.
To ask the CEO to detail actions he is taking in relation to housing supports for those in our communities who are disabled and will he make a statement? Charlie O'Connor
To ask the CEO if any new proposals are emerging to deal with the increasing pressures on Housing and Homelessness in the County and will he make a detailed statement? Charlie O'Connor
To ask the CEO if he plans to provide further Teen Space facilities throughout our County and will he give details and make a statement? Charlie O'Connor
To ask the CEO to present a report detailing the level of Fire Services throughout our County and will he make a statement? Charlie O'Connor
To ask the CEO to confirm if new procedures are being followed in respect of work on the 2024 Voting Registers and will he make a statement? Charlie O'Connor
To ask the CEO to give an update on the Council involvement in the Healthy Communities Programme, and in particular, its social prescribing programme, and how this is being rolled out in South Dublin, what supports the Council is providing for it to optimise its success
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on taking in charge of Saggart estates Drury Mills and Crossforge?
To ask the manager what is the timeframe between an applicant making a submission to register to vote online via checktheregister, and being visible and registered on the system?
To ask the Manager when can local councillors expect to see the final development design published in relation the proposed 6 unit age-friendly development in Sarsfield Park, Lucan?
To ask the manager to provide the most recent up to date information in relation to South Dublin County Council's 'Tenant-in-Situ' targets ie. the numbers now purchased and outlining the numbers at the vaious stages of the process.
