"That this committee recommends that a speed ramp be considered at the exit from the lawn Orwell Park , as it is a very dangerous exit right adjacent to a very busy roundabout – any examination on the ground would justify it's necessity. Noting that there is a current review of the whole ramping process in the SDCC area – that this area be included in that review process."

"That the Manager give consideration to the joint purchase with Dublin City Council of the 3.12 acres of land for sale on Terenure Road West (Presentation Convent Grounds) to provide for the actions contained in the MVA Consultants report, and agreed by the Roads Department, i.e. provision of school drop-off points and park and ride facilities and any other initiatives considered by the Roads Department that would help alleviate the traffic congestion in the area."

That the Manager explains if there are any proposals to implement a HGV ban on Woodford Hill.

"That this Committee recommends to South Dublin County Council that no land from Corkagh Park be taken for a park and ride facility and that such land be obtained elsewhere."

That a report be brought to this Committee regarding proposals for works at Newlands Cross which are scheduled.

That the Manager would respond to numerous incidents and serious traffic safety concerns arising from the demographics, size, design of the estate, and the location of the Community Centre within Earlsfort Estate by treating the matter of Traffic Management in the estate as an emergency problem, placing the safety of residents, particularly children, at serious risk, and agree to install appropriate traffic calming measures before Summer 2006 and outside the countywide Traffic Calming Programme.
