To ask the Manager to carry out a survey of all road signs in Hillcrest Estate Lucan. A number of these are missing in particular Hillcrest Grove. This is now a serious security problem as residents have encountered people calling late at night to their homes requesting assistance as to what road they are on and looking for directions?

To ask the Manager to request the ESB to examine all Public Lighting on the Lucan Main Road from the Statoil Station to the Woodies roundabout. Faults here have been reported by me on three occasions since November 2006. Each time the lights have been repaired only for them to shut off again after a two week period. The ESB must know where the fault lies, if they can detect problems each time the lights out are reported.
"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for some planting of trees/shrubs/flowers or plants on the grass verges at 118-124 Donomore Avenue as has been requested by residents in this quiet cul-de-sac"
