To ask the Manager to examine and report on the dangerous conditions for pedestrians on the stretch of footpath along the N7 from The Poitín Stil to the Applegreen Service Station and if it is possible to erect a safety barrier to aid pedestrian safety?
South Dublin Co. Council call on the Taoiseach and Minister for Social and Family Affairs to publish the National Carers Strategy as committed to in the Social Partnership Agreement - Towards 2016 and in the programme for Government as a matter of principal.
"To ask the Manager to finish the double yellow lines on Templeville Drive and to extend these lines to the corners opposite the current lines?"
"To ask the Manager to remove a tree stump outside * address supplied, and to carry out necessary repairs to the damaged footpath at this location?"
"To ask the Manager to supply an update in relation to the current planning application for the Orwell Shopping Centre?"
"To ask the Manager to include Springfield in Templeogue in the footpath repair program for this year, as the existing footpaths are in a poor state of repair and there have been a number of trip accidents particularly by senior citizens?"
"To ask the Manager to outline the work to be carried out at Kimmage Manor with regard to the capping of the stone pillars?"
"To ask the Manager to arrange for an inspection of the drain at the corner between no's 26 and 27 Westpark Estate as it floods each time it rains, with a view to any blockage or capacity issue to be resolved".
"To ask the Manager to report on the roll out of the current and proposed traffic calming schemes for the Tallaght area to include any funding issues that may have arisen since the last Council?"
That this committee discuss planning application SD09A/0180 with reference to planning permission SD08A/0053 and the location of building on this site.
"That the Manager outline the regulations that exist governing the use of contractors and Council staff in the Tallaght area carrying out drainage works or other activities with regard to damage being caused to existing open spaces which had been maintained by the Council or residents groups"
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the resurfacing of the large ramp between the pedestrian entrance to the Killinarden Enterprise Centre and the Killinarden House as it has degraded to such an extent that it is a danger to both motorists and pedestrians.
That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the removal of the barrier at the junction of Bawnlea Avenue and Fortunestown Road as this barrier blocks pedestrians and wheelchair users from crossing the road at this location while calling on the Manager to re-erect the barrier adjacent to it's current location (as agreed with me some months ago) to ensure its original purpose of stopping illegal encampments taking place in the area.
