That this Area Committee commends and congratulate all the local Tidy Towns who work tirelessly to improve our areas - this includes Clondalkin Tidy Towns, Newcastle Tidy Towns, Saggart Tidy Towns, Rathcoole Tidy Towns, Brittas Tidy Towns and Cherrywood Tidy Towns. We request our appreciation is passed on to all of the volunteers.

That this Area Committee request SDCC to arrange an audit on line markings in and around the village. Some yellow boxes almost 'disappeared' e.g. Orchard Road & Newlands Close particularly bad. Single and double lines faded in a great many places.

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the Deansrath Family Centre proposal and the section 193 land disposal in regards to same?

That this Area Committee Demands (following a previous request motion) that the Department of Education immediately investigate the conditions of the dilapidated Prefabs at St. Ronan's school in Deansrath and come up with a time framed plan that gives the Children and Teachers a proper permanent learning space that includes much needed additional needs class rooms.

That this Area Committee request that SDCC urgently look into the Taking in charge of Millrace in Saggart given its now 18 years and the builder has moved on to other developments.
Winter Maintenance Plan
To ask the CEO for a list of Approved Housing Body dwellings that have been vacant for 6 months or more , as of 1st October, setting out, in each case: the address; the reason for the vacancy; the name of the Approved Housing Body; And the length of the vacancy.
To ask the Chief Executive what is the balance of funding available for all Tidy Towns groups and when will it be released?
That in view of the level of opposition expressed by the local community, this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to reconsider the decision to bring forward the proposed 3G Astro pitch in Knocklyon Park. Joint Motion with Cllr Alan Edge
To ask the CEO for a report into grave plots in the county. Report to include how many grave plots are still available for future purchase in each of its municipal graveyards and plans for finding additional plots in the county.
To ask the CEO if the Council will consider planting the roundabout at the junction of Griffeen Road and Griffeen Way and to make a statement on the matter
That this Area Committee request to change the bollards between the two estates to a swing gate - Oakwood/St. Patricks.
