"That this Committee recommends that any planning permission granted in the future for the site known as 'LANDYS' Knocklyon Road strictly relates to the zoning pertaining on said site i.e. The site is zoned "A", “To Protect and / or Improve Residential Amenity” and the use classes related to this zoning objective. And to note that any application for change of use should adhere to this principle."
"To ask the Manager to review the need for a ramp on Old Bawn Avenue, at the sharp bend close to No 40 and 43, due to residents concerns about safety?"
That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide a report with respect to the placing on Council property such as estate boundary walls/fences of advertising banners/boards indicating for sale/to let information by estate agents, to indicate in the report if this practice is legal and if not what the Manager proposes to do in relation to this problem in the Tallaght area.
That this Committee notes the lack of landscaping and ugly substandard nature of the completed works at the Outer Ring Road - Tallaght section and requests the Manager to carry out a detailed analysis of how this stretch of road compares aesthetically to other roads of a similar significance in the county with a view to enhancing this area immediately.

This Committee agrees to write to the National Roads Authority to ask them to place the N7 under the Belgard/Fonthill Roads when the upgrade of Newlands Cross takes place rather than over it as currently planned. (Reason: To decrease noise levels for those who live nearby).
That this Committee calls on the Manager to examine the issue of pedestrian safety at the roundabout at the junction of Old Bawn Avenue and Dun an Oir, especially at school opening and closing time at Maelruans N.S. and Old Bawn Community School, with a view to making this junction safer.
That the Manager without delay ensures that household refuse collections resumes within the Swiftbrook Estate.
