To ask the Manager to report on his considered plans to resolve the issues at the open space adjacent to Droim Na Coille and the Outer Ring Road that are having appalling consequences for the local environment, and that as part of the reply to this question, and following some years of representation on this serious matter, would the Manager outline a detailed plan to resolve this unsightly mess?
To ask the Manager to arrange for the removal of graffiti on the Esker Lane footbridge over the N4, Lucan and if possible to paint the pillars with an anti-graffiti coating; and to further request more regular cleansing and removal of rubbish in the vicinity of the footbridge?

To amend wording of LZO 2. Primrose Hill, Lucan- Sheltered Housing to read (additional text in bold):
‘2. Primrose Hill, Lucan – Sheltered Housing
Facilitate the provision of sheltered housing in conjunction with a nursing home through development which has regard to the amenity and heritage importance of Primrose Hill House, a protected structure, and its gardens.’
Insert an additional SLO to read as follows:
‘Naas Road – Junction Reorganisation and new Luas Stop
Facilitate the reorganisation and relocation of the ‘Hamburger Junction’ at the junction of the Nangor Road, Long Mile Road with the Naas Road traffic, to provide the potential for a new Luas stop in accordance with the Naas Road Development Framework.’

To ask the Manager for a report on the regularity with which litter bins are emptied in the Lucan/Palmerstown areas and to explain why bins in the Palmerstown area were left un-emptied for three weeks recently?
To ask the Manager to secure the former and now disused traveller accommodation site at Lynches Lane which has been the subject of a number of large fires in recent weeks including on Thursday 18th March and Wednesday 14th April, and to pursue whatever other measures are necessary to prevent a repeat of these large fires? To insert the following text at end of LZO 4 (additional text in bold):
‘4. Grange Castle Golf Course – Development
Provide for development including hotel, golf course activities, golf apartments, golf clubhouse, and associated residential units at Grange Castle Golf Course, integrated with Kilcarberry House. The Department of Defence shall be consulted in relation to any proposed developments.’’

‘Grand Canal- Hazelhatch
Facilitate the development of the Grand Canal at Hazelhatch as a location for water based activities and walking trails between Dublin and Kildare subject to the approval of Waterways Ireland and the development of a sustainable strategy for the Grand Canal as set out in SLO 6. River Liffey and grand Canal- Strategy.’
To amend 2.2.11.i Policy T5: Luas and Light Rail Transit (LRT) Extension.
To ask the Manager to convey compliments to the Litter Warden and cleansing staff for the excellent response to complaints about dumping on the back lanes in Palmerstown and to ask for a report on the number of times the Council have had to remove material that had been dumped in laneways in Palmerstown since June 2009 and to make a statement on what measures can be put in place to eliminate this unhealthy and irresponsible practice.
To ask the Manager to outline a likely timeframe for the proposed redevelopment of traveller accommodation at Ballyowen Lane, Lucan and to request that this proposed redevelopment would include provision for an improved and more attractive boundary finish to the Outer Ring Road?
