That this Committee, conscious that the River Dodder flows through it's area and the responsibility this has on the local environment services, calls on the Manager to give a report outlining how often a cleaning schedule is carried out and the demands that presently exist along the riverbank and its tributaries.
That this Committee congratulates the County Sports Officers, Clondalkin Gardaí and the FAI on the success of the recent late-night soccer league in Clondalkin and noting the reduction in anti-social behaviour during the period of league matches as reported by Clondalkin Gardaí hereby recommends that similar late-night leagues be extended to other areas of the county in as cost-efficient manner as is possible.
That this Council Committee calls on the Manager to give an updated report in relation the recent onsite meeting and the issues identified and solutions suggested in relation to Kilmartin Estate, Fettercairn,Tallaght and the lands alongside the estate.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to confirm that boundary works are to be carried out in Ard Mór Close Tallaght, that will signifcantly impact on local residents and the play area for children and in view of the local controversy can he give an updated report in relation to his proposals for these lands.
Would the Council:
1. provide details of how much the floodlights on the Kingswood Heights tennis court costed several years ago.
2. undertake to review the management of the Kingswood Heights tennis court which is in an appalling state of disrepair and is badly littered and that these and other non-enclosed sport facilities in the county be considered for more advanced security measures/monitoring.
That this Committee requests an on-site meeting at Esker Cemetery, to take place on a date to be agreed at today’s area committee meeting, for the purpose of reviewing matters relating to the maintenance and future development of the cemetery.
That this Committee, NOTING the planning difficulties faced by residents of Oakcourt Drive and Oakcourt Grove, Palmerstown who have sought to extend their rear garden boundary walls to enclose areas of land recently purchased adjoining the rear laneway; FURTHER NOTING the precedent set by an Bord Pleanála in its decision to refuse permission for appeal PL06S.234485 (reg. ref. SD09B/0192) for the reasons of “the absence of a scheme for the enhancement of the lane (including drainage protocols)”; REQUESTS the Water Services Department to prepare an appropriate drainage protocol to provide clear guidance for both residents and the planning authority with respect to future planning applications for development along this rear laneway.
