That this Committee be updated on the progress of the regulations which will encourage shopowners to keep the area in front of their premises clean. When will the regulations come into operation, how will business owners in the Clondalkin area be notified of their responsibilities and how will the regulations be enforced.
Cathaoirleach's Business:
This Committee calls on the Manager to investigate the installation of a new heating system in the Cherryville, Clondalkin and to outline the possibilities of funding that installation.
This Committee supports the Ciaran Carr Foundation in it's efforts to make Clondalkin a heart friendly village. They wish to place defibrillators at various premises around the village with signage to publicise their availability. The group will fund the signage. Could the Manager present a report on how they should proceed in relation to the signage.
That the manager presents a report on tree works required in Micheal Collins Park in relation to pruning, removal and planting
That the Manager addresses the horses being left in St Cuthberths Park and the dirty hay being spread around the park just opposite Grange View Estate/Old Castle Drive and the stable at (*Address supplied)
That this Council restore the pedestrian crossing point on the Ballycullen Road at Woodstown Shopping Centre. The Council will also examine the possibility of removing or reducing plants on the roundabout at that location as it is obstructing the vision of motorists.
That this Committee receives a report on the plans contained within the NTA Draft Cycle Network Plan for the Greater Dublin area relevant to the area under its remit, including (i) existing routes, (ii) designed routes and (iii) future routes.

To ask the Manager for an update on the hut in Clondalkin Leisure Centre, is the paint removed or is the hut being taken down also an update on the resurfacing of the car park in the leisure centre?
To ask the Manager to explain why the bollards at Camac River 'board walk' Orchard Road have not been removed and when will they be removed?
To ask the Manager to give an update regarding the 60k allocated to SDCC Tidy Towns Groups in the budget and outline how much is going to Clondalkin TT and when they will see this money?
That the Manager as a matter of priority puts a plan in place to control the severe litter & dumping problem on the Grand Canal Green Route
That the Manager investigates the feasibility and public appetite to change Knockmeenagh Lane into a pedestrian/cycle route (lane length from cottages to Consolidated Pumps)
That the manager reports on the following outstanding item-
1. Sally Park- SDCC previously agreed to cut back overgrowth in an effort to restrict rubbish gathering and also to open/tidy up the area, can I ask when we can expect this work to be carried out?
That the Manager agrees to clean the Old Nangor Road including the side ditches outside Scoil Mochua and up towards (*Address supplied).
That the Manager install a path at the Fonthill Road, Fonthill Retail Park from the road into Glen field, currently residents must walk on the road to get to the estate from the Fonthill Road.
That the Manager reports on when works are expected to commence as per Question 13 at the February 2014 LAC meeting
That the Manager reports on the following outstanding item:
1. Red Cow/N7/M50 Area- Already raised frequently at LAC meetings but there is a complete dissatisfaction regarding its continued littered condition AND the poor general presentation, Could we have a commitment and timeline for some appropriate action being taken?
To ask the Manager to state how many inspections of private rented accommodation have been conducted on behalf of South Dublin County Council, year on year, since 2009; to state how many prosecutions have arisen; and to make a statement on the matter?
