That this Council strives for best practice provision with respect to fibre broadband and 4G mobile coverage throughout county, particularly in any areas with existing businesses and schools and that the Development Plan be created in accordance with this objective.
That the Council directs the CEO to conduct a strategic review, in the context of the drafting of a new Development Plan, of zoning around Baldonnel to ensure enough land is available for enterprise related uses

Palmerstown Village
That this Council direct the Chief Executive to strategically review the planning framework relating the future development of Palmerstown Village (north of the N4), which forms part of the Gateway Consolidation Area, so as include appropriate zonings, policies and local objectives in the new Development Plan to ensure a more appropriate and sustainable approach to the future development of Palmerstown Village including all currently undeveloped sites, regardless of their current planning status.

That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on joined up thinking within communities to use the facilities that are already available to them.
That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on the routing of Tallaght to Rathfarnham BRT south of River Dodder to enhance poorly serviced Knocklyon area and emerging Ballycullen/Oldcourt area.
That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on a review of the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage Index, taking into account some of the comments made by An Bord Pleanála and additional information that has been received during the Heritage Plan Consultation and also received by the Conservation Officer. e.g. the omission by SDCC to update the NIAH of the horticultural and botanical significance of the gardens and Glasshouses of Willbrook House – it being the former home of Sir Frederick and Lady Moore is a direct threat to our Heritage.
That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on the need for increased Planning Enforcement, especially at naturally sensitive sites such as along rivers, hedgerows and in mountain areas.
That the Plan will facilitate the provision of one or more Geothermal Energy Projects within the County with realistic possibilities of developing same during the lifetime of the Plan.
Change zoning objective from E to A/E at the northern boundary of the Cookstown Industrial Estate adjacent to the Luas and along the respective E zoned Naas Road to allow for sustainable residential development along the Luas.
SDCC education hub - Connecting the technical university to enterprise and industry – promoting indigenous business ie energy research – production / manufacture – installation and energy independence.
That this Council directs the CEO to incorporate signage strategies for retail premises across our villages and town centres into our Development Plan.
That this Council protects the immediate surroundings of protected structures to ensure that development does not threaten or encroach on structures such as the windmill at Windmill Hill, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin and that the Development Plan be created in accordance with this objective.
That this Council directs the Chief Executive to support Barnardos initiative that South Dublin is a “Cool place to be young”.
