QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on areas in Lucan which have been identified as flood prone areas and to confirm when will works be carried out in these areas, as there is a concern given that Lucan experienced high volumes of flooded areas last November that this will continue?"

REPLY:

We have not identified any areas in Lucan as flood prone. We will investigate a specific area if Councillor O'Toole would like to provide more information to the Drainage section.

During the heavy rain episodes in November, the drainage section did not receive any reports of flooding from the Lucan Area.
