That this Area Committee address numerous pot holes in the newcastle area, namely: 1. huge pothole at the unused traffic lights just before the first roundabout on the way in towards Newcastle from rathcoole 2. also one on the other side of the road, almost opposite as you're heading out towards rathcoole 3. end of Alymer Road past the peamount utd turn heading towards clondalkin, roads to narrow to avoid it when it's busy.

"This ACM requests that management from relevant departments look at the issue of parking on the Avonbeg Rd by Bolbrook, and report on possible solutions. Whilst there are huge benefits to recent developments residents in the immediate vicinity have been unfairly impacted by the sum off shoots of a number of SDCC initiatives such as road narrowing, The Edge Café and the link into the Dodder Greenway?"

That much needed resurfacing and repairs on the Main Street in Rathfarnham Village be carried out as soon as possible, particularly at the end of the Village where the surfaces have deteriorated badly. I note that €30K had been allocated for these works but that as the area was being dug up by Irish Water, that the €30K was allocated to Butterfield Avenue instead. I would be obliged if you could please confirm that these monies may now be reallocated and expended for the benefit of the Main Street in the Village as this is now urgent and long overdue.
