MOTION: Councillor D. McManus

That the Chief Executive examine the condition of 59 Main Street, Rathfarnham Village known as Court of Petty Sessions to ensure the property is maintained by the Council and any such works could happen in 2025 in conjunction with local stakeholders.

REPORT:

The Community Department are currently working on a submission for funding under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme ( BHIS ) for Rathfarnham Court of Petty Sessions. We are also in discussions with the Conservation Officer and the Architectural Services Department to review and prepare a realistic timeline programme for this project. Once we have completed these initial stages we will meet with relevant stakeholders to provide updates on the project.
