That this Area Committee agrees to plant a line of trees along the boundary wall between the Oakwood Estate and the Grand Canal Greenway, between the end (west side) of house #48 and the Fonthill Road, in order to prevent overlooking by pedestrians crossing the Fonthill Road Bridge over the Grand Canal, into the back gardens of house numbers 46 - 48.
To ask the Chief Executive to clarify, in relation to the Sally Park Mills Apartment complex (SD18A/027 and SD22A/0038 ), whether the pathway along the Camac River which they will be taking in charge for public use, will be at the water edge or higher up at the top of the river bank?
That this Area Committee agrees to take in charge the walkway along the Camac River between Woodford Walk and Knockmitten Park that was supposed to be ceded to it, after it´s landscaping, as condition 22 of Planning Application, S01A/0186.
That the manager conducts an examination of the road surface on Ballyroan Crescent which is falling into a poor state of repair, with a view to adding the road to the next round of road upgrades.
Following up from my motion in February TAC requesting the purchase of The Ulster Bank in Tallaght , after following up after the meeting does the manager have an update on this?
That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to ensure that prices at the Lucan swimming pool and leisure centre are reduced via subvention, as current listed Aura Leisure prices show that PAYG and annual membership will be significantly higher than other public facilities such as Clondalkin and indeed some private operators and that this goes against the spirit of what is supposed to be community rather than a commercial facility, even allowing for a "sinking fund" to pay for maintenance costs down the line.
"Given the high level of canister abuse can SDCC run a pilot educational programme in Tallaght or produce a fact sheet to highlight the impact this is having on our community - highlight the health risks, hospital admissions etc?"

To ask the Chief Executive to provide a timeline for the commencement of work on refreshing the road markings on Slade Road. It has been agreed by the Traffic Team that this work needs to be done.
