"To ask the Chief Executive if it is possible to have a "Children at Play" sign erected in an appropriate place in Westbourne Lodge. There are a lot of young children playing out on the green space and on the roads and recently there has been a number of cars driving in the estate not taking into consideration the young people at play?"
To ask the Chief Executive to do a study regarding the Play Space Roll Out programme across the County and in particular to try and ascertain why the Play Space at The Park Community Centre in Ballycullen, is not as successful as the other Play Spaces around the County and to report back to this Council on its findings.

To ask the Chief Executive what strategy is in place to deal with undesirable activities in public playgrounds where small children play (an example being a recent situation on 17th June last where teenagers were kicking a ball in the enclosed playground at Griffeen, Lucan and an woman got hit by the ball as did a pram and people were abused, including the Park Ranger, who reportedly then had difficulties in getting said individuals to leave); whether there is a case for CCTV at such locations or allowing rangers to photograph obnoxious offenders for passing on to Gardai; or whether the law only allows for the Gardai to be called in in such circumstances; and if so, what additional measures can be put in place to deter such spoilsports from interfering in the enjoyment of young families, while not taking a draconian approach to other teenagers who are simply having fun without interfering with anybody else.

"To ask for the Chief Executive to issue a report into what is proposed to deal with the excessive illegal dumping at Quarryvale - constantly on the road from the Arc and also in the Greenfort Gardens, Park and Lawn areas. Would the use of cameras be considered in these areas?"
" That the opening hours of Tymon Park be extended? The Templeogue entrance to Tymon Park (on Wellington Lane) currently opens at 10.15am. In the interest of public health and fitness, is it possible to allow the public access to park before office opening hours so people can avail of the amenity for sports, leisure walks, runs and physical activity.
The park, the second biggest in Ireland, is a great natural resource for the public who want to use it for physical exercise. Can we do anything to get it open earlier"
"That the Chief Executive, with respect to the Substitute Consent application currently being considered by An Bord Pleanala, provide a detailed report on activity at Windmill Hill, Rathcoole to include the result of recent site inspections carried out in response to my numerous motions and representations on this issue. In particular I would like clarification as to whether activity at this location is in compliance with the conditions of permission SDQU05A/4 in relation to the notification of blasting and dust control; the condition attached to permission SD12A/0059 and PL.06S.241259 in relation to the recycling of non-bitumionous waster; condition 7 of the same permission which protects the Liffey Aqueduct Arterial Culvert ; and that the report address the perceived encroachment of the activity into lands outside of the permission grant. I would also like the report to clarify whether the activity is contrary to the current Development Plan Table 4.3.1 which protects the view of the Hill from Browns Barn and the listing of the Windmill house as a preserved structure."
To ask the Cheif Executive to issue a report on about what can be done to prevent people letting their dogs poo and not picking it up. It is a county wide issue and what is being considered and how can the issue be progressed to a satisfactory conclusion?
To ask the Chief Executive for a report on the Homeless and Housing crisis report to include number of house available on CBL by month from January 15 , also how many registered as homeless in SDCC and a breakdown of same and how many are in hotels? how many on Housing list? how often is list updates? are people in rented accommodation still deemed to have a housing need? as much detail as possible.
To ask the Chief Executive to issue a report on Grass cutting in SDCC. Is this given out to private contractors ? is the area suppose to have litter picked up in advance of grass cutting? Is the standard inspected after work is carried out? is the grass supposed to be picked up after cutting? what is the standard expected?
"To ask the Chief Executive if the bushes on the road outside of the Garda Station, just directly before the Zebra Crossing, be cut down to height that will allow for drivers to see pedestrians coming towards the crossing".

That the Chief Executive reinstate the 2nd Tree Pruning crew with immediate effect and follow through on the commitment given to this Council last year, and allow them to help clear the excessive back log of trees that require pruning or removal.
