That this Committee requests that the Chief Executive examines the possibility of re-introducing funding for the Estates Management projects that were previously in operation in areas of the Tallaght South LEA. Included in this review would be discussions with other organisations that could be in a position to manage the project with funding from the Council, such as the South Dublin County Partnership. This Motion recognises the value of the contribution of these Estate Managers in issues such as tenanting policy, surrender of houses, local knowledge on anti-social behaviour issues etc.
