Amend R6 Objective 3 to read: "To support and facilitate the development of new District Centres of an appropriate urban scale at Adamstown and Clonburris in accordance with approved Planning Schemes which should provide a sustainable retail mix including department stores and shopping centres that facilitates walking, cycling and use of public transport and reduces car journeys outside the SDZ for many retail needs.
"That this committee demands that a safety audit be done in Newcastle to determine safety needs especially for the Glebe estate and children going to school along this busy road."

"This committee supports the extension of the city bike scheme to a number of locations in the Clondalkin area, including the Red Cow Luas stop, the Clondalkin Civic Offices and a number of locations along the Grand Canal Greenway."
"This committee agrees that more effort should be made to protect the residents of Newlands Road from the visual impact of the flyover at Newlands cross. If there is no scope for further planting along the perimeter, planting should be offered in the gardens of those residents who desire it to provide the visual screen which was a condition of the planning permission for the flyover."
That the zoning of the site next to the Green Isle Hotel at Boot Road / Old Naas Road would be reverted to (OS) Open Space, with a Specific Local Objective to facilitate and extension to the Hotel for it's existing activities.
