QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"To ask the Chief Executive to issue a report into the condition of paths around Clondalkin village, and when work will be done to improve some dangerous paths given investment in the Tower Heritage Centre and expected Tourism, this is an urgent matter?". 

REPLY:

The Area Engineer will inspect the footpaths in Clondalkin Village as soon as the 2016 Roadworks and footpath programme is complete. Damage is being caused by vehicular traffic on the footpaths. Emergency repairs will be carried out.

As mentioned at the last ACM, there currently is no finance available for a Village scheme in Clondalkin.
